October & November Cannery Group

Dry-pack canning will be held on the 3rd Tuesday in October and November.

October 20th and November 17th. If you would like to participate, you may contact Jackie. A sign-up sheet is available in the Relief Society binder for both October's canning group and November's.

September Cannery Group

The next cannery group will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of September.
There is a sign-up sheet going around in the binder if you want to sign up ahead.
You can start planning what you would like to dry-pack to bolster up your food storage.

February Dry Pack Canning

Tuesday January 20th, 2009 there were five ward members that attended the Cannery.  We canned wheat, macaroni, spaghetti, carrots, onions and rolled oats.  

We started at 7:00pm and were finished by 8:00pm.  Everything went smoothly and a good time was had by all.  

We are scheduled to work at the cannery again on February 17th at 7:00pm.  Please sign up in the Enrichment binders if you are interested.  

There may not be a scheduled work day in March because Elder and Sister Oler will be finishing their mission at the cannery at this time.  

We will keep you posted as to the next date available to dry pack.
